The Medical and Abortion

Article 1 of Law 15173, in force since 1964, says the Medical College is the representative body of the medical profession and in his art. 5 º inc. A, says he is responsible for ensuring that their activities are governed by the principles and precepts contained in the Code of Ethics and Ethics, these important duties were ratified by the Statute of Association approved in 2000, as we read in Chapter II, art. 6 and in Chapter III, Art. 7 º.

In the preamble to Resolution No. 5295-CN-CMP-2007 is established with all clarity that is essential, especially for medicine, have a Code of Ethics and Ethics established on the basis of the principles of moral development of men and Physicians, in this case.

Medical Labor Law (DL 559), Title I, art. 2 and 5, states that the medical act is governed by the precepts and principles contained in the Code of Ethics and deontology.

General Health Law 26842, Priozil in the preliminary section, item III, says “… The subject of law is conceived in the field of Health.”

Officials at the Medical College in different regions are chosen to implement and enforce the Act, the Statutes, Regulations and Code of Ethics and professional conduct and not to violate the regulation as stated in Chapter III art. 43 º.

The Medical College and lives an election is necessary that those who aspire to lead the institution know what is their function, since some officers in Lima and provinces are saying slightly in favor of Abortion and against the provisions of our regulations … Sure they can say … but first renounce their role as directors of the school! … Institutionally the Medical College does not endorse the Abortion!, Chapter IV, Art. Includes 73 complaints against officers who violate these moral principles under the Act, Rules, Regulations and Code, as that has been already prepared in Lima, no lobbyist campaign may undermine this strong philosophical basis, founded on historical principles of solidarity, freedom and Justice and begins to defend the right to life and especially the right to life of the most helpless of the helpless.
